Thoughts

Two years since you passed away. I still think of you and talk about you all the time, especially to Nolan. I’m in Malta at the moment. I used to send you postcards from all my travels. Sad I can’t do that anymore. I used to love comparing travel stories with you. Spent today thinking about all the happy memories we shared, from playing in the garden at Lincoln Road, climbing the tree or sitting on your motorbike, to taking you to watch Maidstone United or out for a pub lunch. You are sorely missed today and always. Steph xx

One of my earliest memories of mum and dad was walking to the bus stop to go to town with them, each holding one of my hands and swinging me up in the air between them. Then a memory of summer days after school visiting them with my own children and finding them in the garden in deck chairs and dad being sent in doors for tea, and returning with tea and assorted biscuits and sweets for the kids. Last good memory of mum was sitting on the arm of her chair and squeezing her hand, when she turned and smiled her wonderful smile at me, last memory of dad was in hospital, sitting with him that last time listening to him talk of things past and squeezing his hand and seeing him smile too. Rest In Peace you two, always in my thoughts ❤️❤️❤️❤️

As a kid having him tuck his giant hand under my chin and say 'get out of that' or lift me by the ears as I held on to his arms.Kicking a ball with him round the garden at Lincoln Road and seeing the way he looked after Nanny then Joyce. Lots of great memories, lots to be thankful to him for. Lots of love, Nick
